I beleive I have sourced the proper airbag and fittings. Just have to figure out the mounting bracket. Thanks! lockmup68 Posted May 11, 2018 Report Share Posted May 11, 2018 I don't have the measurements, but it is just an angle bracket that is the size of the airbag plate. It is basically same angle as the hitch at rest at the white line so the bag articulates in the same plane as the hitch. just plumbs into the same airline as the other two bags. I'll see if I can get pics. While you are making a bracket, you can do the shock mounting brackets at the same time. I took some pics last year at ECR. Randyretired Posted May 11, 2018 Report Share Posted May 11, 2018 I built my 3rd airbag by cutting a flat plate that covered the bottom of the airbag. Then I added supports to angle it approximately the same as the top plate. It has been this way for a number of years and hasn't blown up yet. Just can not find the old thread for the bag number.
