Pat & Pete
" 900-pound elk smashes into tiny Smart car, driver survives " That's just a little backwards . Still , good the driver came out OK . Goes around , comes around .
Nuke-E
Kind of interesting reading that there was a fire. With not much up front, I guess the fuel tank or something must have been damaged in rolling over? 45' 2004 Showhauler -- VNL300, ISX, FreedomLine -- RVnerds.com -- where I've started to write about what I'm up to Headlight and Fog Light Upgrades http://deepspacelighting.com
LindaH
Kind of interesting reading that there was a fire. I didn't read where there was actually a fire, just that the driver was concerned there might be. From the article: "Concerned about his car catching fire after the devastating accident, Markevich was able to extricate himself from the wreckage..." Nuke-E
That makes more sense. Must have been reading a little too quickly. Car fires usually don't quit once they get going... 45' 2004 Showhauler -- VNL300, ISX, FreedomLine -- RVnerds.com -- where I've started to write about what I'm up to Headlight and Fog Light Upgrades http://deepspacelighting.com
Alie&Jim's Carrilite
He says "Extricate himself" I would be willing to bet that the doors still opened with a push. Too bad it wasn't a moose, he could have just driven under it....
