abs ECU changing UPDATE fixed

Well, I changed it. Removed ecm fuse. Still have abs light. This module was for a single rear axle. 4s/4m and had all the features of my original module. Likely have to let Freightliner look at it. Hopefully some changes need to be in computer.

Glenn, Glenn, Glenn....

If the trucks been sitting for a while you may get an ABS light until you drive a mile or so, then brake. Or if you start up (without moving) usually rests after keying on/off. It's typically dirt by the sensor or locked drums.

But you would have figured this out with "Access Freightliner", with which gives you your operating manual. As well....

Scrap;

Most Century/Columbia/Coronado's will have a plug just behind the drivers door threshold (door step plate). It is either on the trim panel or under an oval cover plate there.

Glenn;

When/If you get into Access Freightliner you will have the manuals for "Your" truck. Not a generic version.

Good question. And no it has not been reprogrammed by Freightliner. Going there in near future. Want to get info and clear governor while there. Reading about pulling a relay and resetting abs. Going to do more research. Do believe I will remove all the extra cables, etc left over from the removed axle. May find one plugged in wrong. so much all together now hard to isolate.
