Big5er
Hey Deezl, I saw this pull in this morning and I thought about your idea. I have no idea what he is hauling but he has a lot of bed space still. Deezl Smoke
That is awesome. Thanks Big5er.. I like that lower profile trailer. Looks like a clean wheel well enclosure. Also a clean enclosure around the bottom of it. Maybe a rock crawler or something. Did you happen to see what type of license plate he was running? Just out of curiosity. I'm a work'n on it. Big5er
He has a travel trailer tag, still mounted on the travel trailer. And in Texas that type of registration would be legal...but need to be for the flatbed and something just tells me it isn't But leaving it mounted where it is, while technically illegal, will keep him from tearing it off since the the flatbed is made with a very low mounted bracket. As for his load, I have no idea. I am in south Texas and we don't have many rocks to climb. Maybe a mud truck MY PEOPLE SKILLS ARE JUST FINE.~It's my tolerance to idiots that needs work.~ 2005 Volvo 780 VED12 465hp / Freedomline transmission singled mid position / Bed by Larry Herrin2018 customed Mobile Suites 40KSSB3 2014 smart Fortwo

Nolan
Saw something like that near Gunnison, CO. a few years back. Had ATVs behind the travel trailer on the 5th wheel.
shorts
It looks like a deluxe redneck 4 wheeler hauler, their are some detailed write ups and pictures of similar rigs over on pirate 4x4
AllenF
Shorts is correct. They call them Crawler Haulers. Google "crawler hauler" and you will see everything from nice 5 th wheels to pop ups. My favorite is Mobile Marriott. Here is the build thread. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/tow-rigs-trailers/880366-mobile-marriott-camper-hauler-build.html
Deezl Smoke
I remember coming across that rig when googling things like diy campers and other word combinations. Pretty cool. I'm a work'n on it.
yzg
I think it was in '06, we were looking for a toy hauler and we found below which was essentially a pop up trailer, on a flat bed, that would hold 4 quads or act as a patio for the camper. No sewer system so to speak. It had a really heavy tongue weight I think.. We were running the MX circuit at that time and it would have made a nice clean spot to work on the bikes but just too heavy .. too much for the my RAM with had only a 318 in her....
