Hello everyone,

We have been on the move, but not far since Quartzsite. Most of our time has been in Casa Grande vending at various rallies. The Gypsy Journal gathering, Right now the AZ Samboree, and next week the Holiday Rambler rally.

As best I can, I try to keep our location and schedule posted on our website.

From there we are going to spend a couple of weeks near San Diego while Rocky does some sales work for Nord-Lock, and then we will head up to Stockton.

We met some of you in Quartzsite and are looking forward to again at the SKP Spring event. Doing the work that Berni & do, can sometimes make it hard to find time to socialize, but we try.

Cheers

We had a great time seeing John and his Cajun Queen Maureen yesterday. They drove out from their RV place in Vegas to Boulder Campground. It's so much fun to be able to see people along the road!

Looking forward to seeing you two, Joe and Nancy.

Rick and Carol, are you still at Katherine Landing?

Hey---Yes, we are still at Katherine Landing. We are waiting on some mail and we thought we would wait for all the nascar people to leave. We are planning on leaving here Monday and be there that afternoon. So you think we could fit our 5'er in some of the spots where you are staying? It is 40' long. We have really enjoyed being here, but we're about ready for something new. Glad to hear that you will be staying a while longer.

Joe and Nancy---we are in Bullhead City..we are staying at the Katherine Landing campground really nice and quite...Come by if you are in the area...

John & Maureen---how long will you be staying in Vegas? We will be there about 10 days...hopefully you will still be there when we get there Monday...let me know...

Hello all.........I haven't had internet since Q, but got an air card today. I'm volunteering at Anahuac NWR and really enjoying the experience. This is a birder's paradise. So, if any of you like watching birds, stop in and say hello. This weather sure beats the snows of Minnesota!

Anyone doing the upper Texas coast before May?

Hi Rick & Carol. . .You are wise to wait til the NASCAR folks leave. Boulder Campground is already mostly full. . .and it's just Thursday. Monday should work to get a site here. There are many sites that are long enough and wide enough to park your 5er. Most long rigs park diagonally across the site with room to park the TV next to the rig. In addition, there are 14 pull-thru sites that handle anything. C'mon in. . . icon_cool.gificon_wink.gificon_razz.gif

Hi Everyone

We have been in Phoenix since leaving Q. It has been a great stay at Desert Shadows in N.Phoenix. We are leaving on Fri.3/9 and heading toward Benson. We will be staying at the Valley Vista RV Resort. Anyone stayed there? We will be there at least a week, so if you are in the area, give us a holler. icon_smile.gif

Barb and Dave, we just spent a week in the Benson area with Gary/Jo Ella and Snackmaster/Jan and found lots of stuff to do. Be sure to visit Tombstone (see the gun fight at OK Corral), Bisbee (Copper Queen Mine), Chiricahua National Monument, Gammon Gulch, and a few other areas I can't remember right now.

This was our 2nd 2 week stay in the area this winter. We have really enjoyed it - but there are still a lot of things we didn't get to see, so it is definately a place we will come back to - maybe next winter.

Have no air card so only have access to internet at the Casa Grande Library. Did not get Barb's message about meeting Duane and Louise Wegley until today. But they did knock on our door the other night. Since then we have spent two relaxing evenings together, a trip to the Casa Grande National Monument and another to the Good Sam Rally that is here this weekend. After the Rally visit we stopped by Wall Mart and I think Diane and Louise get along too well as there was a stop by the fabric area and it seams to me that Diane had some influance on Louise getting some fabric. I was told that while I got off lucky this trip that it will be made up for in a few days. We are planning an joining Louise and Duane for a swap meet session tomorrow. Perhaps that is when the luck runs out for me. Anyhow they are neat folk and we are really enjoying their company.

Hello all my fellow 06'ers, I don't intend for this to sound like a sales pitch but if any of you are remotely interested in a RV membership club or just a free pass to one please let me know and I'll get you a free 5 day, 4 night, dinner for 2 stay at one of my resorts. Of course you gotta do the 90 minute presentation thing but it's painless and there's absolutely no other obligation. So, if you feel like helping out a fellow classmate please send me your name, address, and phone number and I'll hook you up. Thanks............mike

Howdy Classmates,

We just arrived at the Winchester Bay RV Resort near Reedsport, OR, for a two month visit. We will be here until May 15, so if anyone comes by, stop in for a while. We are in space #49, which is located on the south edge of the park near the bay. I know most of you are still hanging out in the desert, but the rain IS getting warmer in this part of the country! icon_biggrin.gif

Hey Everyone---We are now in Boulder City, just outside of Las Vegas and will be here for a couple of weeks. We are staying at Boulder Campground in the Lake Mead Recreation Area. We had a nice visit with Jeff, Suzanne and Madison this evening and plan on doing lots of sightseeing while we're here...

John & Maureen---Are you still in Vegas, if so give us a call and we'll get together....

Steve - So that was YOUR money we saw at Sunset Station! We're enjoying a mini '06 reunion here in Vegas - not only John and Maureen, but now Rick and Carol are here and we had a nice campfire last night with Joe and Nancy who are moving out to Boulder today. Weather is gorgeous - no warm rain Gordon, no rain of any kind.

Saw Spamalot on Sunday night - anyone who's ever seen Monty Python will totally convulse in laughter - even if you don't know Python - you'll be hysterical - totally worth the price of the ticket especially if you get in during March while they are in previews - all tickets are 25% off. So anyone coming to Vegas - check it out!

Jeff & Suzanne - Python is one of my all time favorites! I'd have loved to stay and see the show but had to get back to Livermore for an appointment at the VA. Have two more of them in April, then off to Canada with Laurie for a couple of weeks.

Mike - Yeah, sorry I couldn't make it but the Gout flared up and I couldn't even get a shoe on my foot. This afternoon is the fist time in days I could walk without a limp. Put the opportunity to good use and finally got my phone line and my satellite tv hooked up!!

My phone number up here in Loma Rica is 530-741-0291. See you tomorrow for lunch.

Well everyone, we are now in Mesa. The Life on Wheels conference was not that good in my estimation. Part of the problem is we have been on the road awhile and a LOT of it was geared to people who haven't bought a rig yet or are JUST getting ready to fulltime.

We are at Mesa Regal RV Park until Monday and then head to Oak Creek Canyon. And who turned the furnace on! We shivered for weeks and weeks and then bam - HEAT!

Hi Barb and Dave! Glad to hear you made it to Mesa. Sorry to hear you didn't care for LOW. We went to the one in Bethlehem, PA last year and loved it. Of coarse it was before we started full-timing so was more helpful. I guess it gave us more "reassurance" in how/what we were doing.

Yes, it's been a little HOT but has been beautiful around here. Shame your only going to be in the area till Monday. We went to Taliesin West (East of Scottsdale built by Frank Lloyd Wright) yesterday. Shelly and I will be working today and tomorrow (Thursday & Friday) but then off till Tuesday. We will give you a call sometime today.

Well, those wild and crazy '06ers were at it again. Yesterday, Joe and Nancy, Rick and Carol and us took the Strip by storm. We truly walked off our aging baby boomer legs (except for Carol who is too young to be a boomer) starting at Mandalay Bay all the way to Caesar's Palace. At that point, our collective feet began to shout loud and clear that they were "mad as hell and weren't going to take it any more." Today is recuperation time so we can attack downtown tonight.
