CLASS OF 2007 follow along with us.

The Bader/Evans crew was re-admitted to the US of A but it was a near thing. If anyone is interested the gory details are posted here. We eventually crossed the border on Wednesday, late in the day and made it to Angel Winds Casino somewhere in northern Washington. Today we ran in rain all day through heavy traffic in Seattle and eventually down the Oregon coast to one of our Thousand Trails preserves. We'll be here for a week and then go on to another TT at Morgan Hill (south of San Jose).

Anybody up for a run into Mexico for Christmas/New Years? We're thinking about Christmas in Alamos.

Joe where can I find out where it is ok to pull doubles and where not to.

Ray, you might also check out the "Rules of the Road & Towing Laws" chart in the Trailer Life Directory, if you have one. Ours is a 2008 but I'm sure the same chart is in the new one(s). Good starting point...

Hank and Patti, I was hoping the church was close enough for us to take a day trip to see it, but it is too far for that so we will have to plan on visiting NM during the summer one year.

Glad to hear you say that Joe and Marcia. Santa Fe and the area's around it deserve way mor time than just a day trip. It is a beautiful area with so many things to see and do.

Wow! that's quite a story. Sorry you suffered such a hassle at the border. Enjoy your stay.

We had such a great time visiting with Marsha and Joe last night. We really have had fun seeing so many of our friends as we rolled along from Virginia to Arizona. Fay and Jay really showed us a great time in the RGV; and seeing John and Lora was such a treat.

Today we'll head over to Saguaro SKP for a month.

Holy Cow Bob! I really admire your patience with them border guys. I'd probably be in jail for assault. Glad you're finally on your way south. Maybe we'll see you some where this winter.

Those situations are actually much more stressful for Marilyn for precisely that reason. Our ancestors came from County Cavan in Ireland and they were scrappers. My G.Grandfather died shortly after a bar brawl and his violent temper flows in all our veins. So Marilyn has to deal with the stress of any particular situation we may be involved with plus the stress of never knowing when I might go off on somebody. I've never actually been in a fight in my life but my mouth has often made promises that my fists could never back up. However I was on my best behaviour this week.

Bob & Marilyn.....You must have the patience of Job....I like others would have been at my wits end.

I thought that the computers were set up so that after crossing the border multiple times you sorta showed up as a good guy.....guess not. We are just glad you have "arrived".

We left the terrific company of Howie and Norah this AM, they went west and we are headed east. We are in TEXAS now, sitting at a rest area eating lunch.

We do want to be in Donna TX for Thanksgiving.

Bob, sorry about your troubles at the border. I guess the lesson here is never joke with a government employee. It is my experience they have no sense of humor, a job requirement I am sure.

I was given a fix-it ticket because I did not have metal ends on a yard stick. I owned a craft store and we sold ribbon by the yard. The inspector from weights and measures told me about the metal requirement and I jokingly asked him if he had ever tried to screw a little old lady out of a quarter inch of ribbon. He then informed me if I did not correct the problem when he returned, he would shut us down.

Serious crime, cheating on ribbon.

Hope the remainder of your trip does not have any more of our official numb skulls.

Who was joking? The only reason we leave is because it gets cold. That comment may have been a visible trigger but we were doomed long before he asked the question. In retrospect I think once we went inside we were going home. The officers' actions were more consistent with establishing proof than they were with determining elegibility.

Just a note to say "Hi" to everyone. Bill, Lesle, Jim and I are still in Coffeyville, Kansas, working for amazon.com. We have five weeks to go as everybody leaves Dec 23 - the last day shipment is made to arrive by Christmas. This year the weather has been beautiful with temps in high 60s and low 70s. We have the windows and door open every day, which is very nice. Amazon.com will start all their sales tomorrow, Monday instead of waiting for Black Friday. I heard there are suppose to be some real deals this week, changing during each day.

We have hardened up our bodies the first three weeks, so it is pretty good now. All of us are working in Receiving with Bill driving the fork lifts that reach some 30-40 feet in the air that put merchandise up to the top mods to be Stowed into bins. I've lost 8 pounds the last two weeks and feel pretty fit. We are all sporting colds with coughing jags, but otherwise doing fine.

We are talking up Quartzsite to many of the SKPs we work with, so there should be a bunch of us in Q come January. We will drive towards there as soon as we leave here. Christmas may be somewhere on the road.

Enjoy reading how everyone is doing and where we are all located. Miss you all!!!

I knew you guys hadn't fallen off the face of the earth but I was about to jog over to Coffeeville to see if you were really there.

We were at Olathe and I went over to the Topeka area but that's as close as we got. Since then we went to Branson and are in Little Rock tonight. Tomorrow we go to Hot Springs National Park and then to Crater of Diamonds State Park to hunt for some diamonds. After that Livingston. Then down to Padre Island. Hopefully to soak up sun and swim.

Ron & I seem to be in a prime visitor location right now.....first Howie & Norah and now Hank & Patty. They arrived yesterday and we had a great visit. Out to eat at the Shed which they declared a great place to eat and since we haven't seen them in a year we were happy to just sit and chat all evening. We were sad to see them leave this AM but glad they chose to share their anniversary with us on their way to FL. Every one take note we are here until the middle of Jan so if you are cruising along I-10 thru MS just shout at us.

I have to tell you all that Lulu is doing just fine. I was a bit concerned that Jay and Fay might be neglecting him but after arriving here in Donna TX and seeing Lulu for myself I know my concerns were not warranted.

Greg, hurry up and get down here............. and anyone else that is coming............

Heck no, I didn't check. How do you tell the difference anyway?

And if he isn't a him then he would have to be a her and no him wants to be a her. Do they?

And no the MARGARATOR isn't running, but we will have to fix that.

OK if Lulu is a her then SHE is OK too.

Linda you and NoraH are the only ones that pay that much attention to small details........ are you and Ron coming to the RGV when your finished in MS?
