Plus, at $150 I can do a lot of CAT scale weighs; just be sure each axel is on a different scale plate. I tend to weigh each RV twice--once before buying and once fully loaded. If my load changes a lot I can still weigh again for less that the cost of a self-weigh system. I can see where this might be helpful for professional drivers who change loads frequently but not for RVers. And it only gets axle weights, which is better than nothing but side to side is also very important and the best choice is individual wheel weights such as Smart Weigh or RVSEF give you.
