Apparently they are not generating power from the reservoir either. The water level in the reservoir is at about 5 percent at this time. Randyretired Posted January 5, 2022 Report Share Posted January 5, 2022 The Colorado River drainage has gone from 51% of normal to 122% in 2 weeks. That is a lot of snow over a short period of time. Some areas received over 10' in a week. The Rio Grand drainage is still slightly below normal but the heavy snowfall recently has increased it a bunch. It is very near average. I had not seen one that good. Thanks! At least for now the fire danger in the area around Louisville should be gone to give those folks time to save what they can. We have a niece just southwest of the fires and 2 nephews just to the north of them but none of them were impacted other that nerves and smoke.
