So, ya gots the optional remote hydraulic outlet kit and 540 pto on the little Dodge?  Outlet upgraded to ISO or still the wonky JD style?

On closer inspection, that looks like a Ford.  It's hard to tell from here.

It was a 280miles repositioning trip, so no pto or hydraulics needed. Lights work.  He's got JD fittings Rick cause after all the world needs 157 different straight line connections to move fluid under pressure... he will have Pioneers soon...

That won ton is a cab n chassis model Flatbed Ford 3 fitty Fordor, 'luminum bed, sweet 6 speed TorqShift trans, solid front axle, manual hubs, manual transfer shift, worn out tires, rear locker, gas engine ...  😲

The cart is a bit of a parachute when when the prairie winds blow from 30deg off the port bow.

"Are we there yet?" asked no motorcycle rider, ever.

540 rpm Power Take Off, which is what yer K tractor has.  Then there's 1,000 rpm big shaft (1 3/4") and 1,000 rpm little shaft (1 3/8").  Different spline count on the various sizes.

Then there's the JD/ISO thing.  Back when the notion of hydraulic power on tractors was still a novelty, each manufacturer had their own design of coupling.  Some worked better than others, none worked well.  In the '80s, they all switched to ISO (International Standards Organization) couplings.  These are often referred to as Parker fittings, cuz Parker makes most of the fittings found in farm stores and shops.

And that kids, concludes today's lesson in Ag Ebonics
