Don't know what wattage they will be yet. I only "need" the smaller 3k inverter, but would like to get rid of the smart phase selector that I'm using to tie it into the whole coach. If they do a 5k, I'd upgrade a bit, depending on cost. If not will get the Schneider 6800w. When you look at Magnum inverters, they state maximum watts which equals Volt-Amps and that is true for a purely resistive load. A Victron inverter lists the watts taking into account a .8 power factor. The end result of two inverters with the same VA rating is that they both will produce the same power to a load. For me that is. Be good for those that don't need that much. Schneider rates there 6800 as watts. Concerning your mini split, you could run it off a transformer. Then it would run on 30 amp circuit. That what I did. David Got it thanks. It's a bit complicated for my eyes for some reason and I'm not sure it will work as I think it should. I may check into the "Transformer" but I need to decide what to do with the house battery bank soon and I'd like to replace the Inverter at the same time.
