So we broke down and bought a 2013 Smart Pure.  12000 miles, services at Mercedes, great condition, unmolested..... Low price.

So the mods begin.  For a while, we will double tow behind the DRV.  So I found David Dixons write up for wiring lights up on a 451.  Also, have a Blue Ox base plate picked out, already have a Blue Ox Alpha tow bar.

So we need some wider rims on the front (all the way around) and tires.  Add cruise control, Smart Madness has it with the programmer.  Any other suggestions?

I have 2 sets that are 8 and 9 years old. The one set is now in its 3rd car...lol

The steering wheel cover is great for cold AND hot weather.

195/50/15 for the tire size. Same diameter as original so no adjustment in the speedometer reading. Check out Tirerack.com for the wheels. 6" wide wheels will fit all the way around and you'll be able to rotate the tires. Save one of the skinny fronts for a spare.
