Brad NSW Posted May 24, 2018 Report Share Posted May 24, 2018 Finally finished the winch mount for the Smart Car. It clamps on either side of the deck, so I can load from either side. Takes about 10 Minutes to clamp it on, using one bolt through the deck. Electrical comes from a quick connect running from the battery, hanging on the back of the cab. This weekend will be the first attempt loading the Smart Car....then it's off to Norfolk, VA for a 3 week course I run there, so no more projects. 2010 Freightliner, DD15 Eaton Ultrashift, 2015 New Horizons 5th Wheel. Hope to leave today for Williamsburg. Will be staying at the Pottery Campground. Only for 4 days. So maube we can get together. Have a safe trip. Are you towing? And the 4 x 4's is sandwiched between two pieces of 1/4" steel plate.
