Santa
We are evaluating domicile in SD and are obtianing Motor Home insurance quotes that are sooo high they negate the benefit of change. One agent stated that she believed all us current & future full timers where registering in the same Zip, causing high rates. Any one else experiencing this? Twotoes
When I went full time in 2014 I chose SD as my domicile. I saved thousands of dollars leaving Calif on r gistratin and insurance costs. Don’t know where you are registered now but can’t believe it would be cheaper than SD. 2015 Itasca Ellipse 42QD 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock Edition 2021 Harley Street Glide Special Fulltimer
Alie&Jim's Carrilite
Compare Texas, Florida and South Dakota. Also, it depends if you're going to Box Elder or Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls is cheaper for us. Livingston Tx- Escapee's was a close 2nd but SD had better insurance at the time we moved. Jim's Adventures Old Spacecraft.... Kirk W
Keep in mind that the cheapest domicile may not be your best choice as there are other factors that should be considered. LFDR3116
We also saved a lot on insurance cost changing from MI to SD. We were also changing to a full-timers policy which offer different/additional coverages that your standard policy does not have. Is some of your cost increase because of that?
