Plugging in trailer to jackalopee sometimes triggers ABS system

Sometimes when I plug our trailer in (to the jackalopee) with the truck off, I'll hear the ABS system go thru the self check (where you hear all of the relays/solenoids click). I've also noticed that if I leave the trailer plugged into the truck while it sits for a couple of weeks it'll drain the main battery in the trailer.

Am I missing something to keep the trailer battery from back-feeding the truck?

Thanks!

I'll have to take a look. The previous owner didn't follow everyone's advice and put it in under the bunk, so I'll have to crawl under the truck and look.

If there is enough feed wire I'd move that to inside the drivers storage box. You will be VERY glad you did that, down the road.
