Dutch_12078
Due to a bridge collapse caused by a major fire, part of I-85 through Atlanta will be close indefinitely. I think the only good alternative for RV'ers passing though is the I-285 loop. BillandKathy
We came through Atlanta yesterday (04/01) at about 10 AM, taking I-285 East. Traffic was very heavy east-bound but moving OK; west-bound looked to be at or near a standstill the entire 20+ miles. StarDreamers.us
It is going to be a MESS for months. I-285 E & W could be a good option. You may also want to consider doing that after midnight until 4 am or so. Good luck. Safe Travels!
