Ronbo
Balancemasters on front of truck, balance beads in rear tires, balance the trailer tires. I am having issues with the beads getting a couple of the valve stems and causing a slow leak. They. Any not have inserted the proper valve cores. Pat & Pete
I have used regular BBs in my truck tires and I use 6 shot in my motorcycle . Both with excellent results .
Pappy Yokum
I use Centramatics on the 5th wheel and the truck. Many HDT truckers are happy with Centramatics. Bought a set (CMs) for my LDT steers - (IMO) they took up too much space on the lug (studs), so returned them and went with BalanceMasters - which left sufficient amount of thread "outside" of the lug nuts. Also, for my LDT - CM admitted some (possible) brake caliper clearance. Maybe? . Never tried the beads - just figure (IMO) stuff *inside* the tires could be a PITA. . With the exception of my "hangup" on the spacing for the Centramatics, either one would be my choice. BalanceMasters seem to work out just fine - been meaning to add set to the drive tires/wheels.. . oscarvan
Well, keeping "stuff" out of the tires steered (haha) me towards the Centramatics. They're sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. 10x4x450ft.lbs......better have my Wheaties.
