  1. I have used https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwj3gpWKv5blAhUzGH0KHWDPBYkYABACGgJwdg&ohost=www.google.com&cid=CAASE-RoV45imIsozAGhSa90r_ry0LU&sig=AOD64_3vyV5vU-zFDv0bNY2G2zPJUOjkLA&ctype=46&q=&ved=0ahUKEwjGs46Kv5blAhVLgp4KHZPHD1YQzzkIOw&adurl=. I have tested it in clear bottles to see its effect. On gray water and black water. It takes 5 days or so to break down black water that had very little solids in it. But it did cleanup the gray water nicely. I have used it on dirty auto eguipment. It takes numerous applications. But it does clean oily greasy stuff. Many years ago I bought a old oil field drilling rig that had crude oil on it. The rig needed a lot of repairs that I did over the summer that year. So every time it was going to rain I sprayed it with Simple Green and over the summer it cleaned that rig up fairly good. About two years ago I had our kitchen sink drain clog up. There was nothing in the trap and nothing in the clean out to the tank. It had to be in the flexible pipe for the slide. Water would hardly drain overnight if the sink was filled up. So I put one cup of Simple green in the sink before going to bed. Next morning it worked as it should. No problems since. Just a thought,. Vern
  2. I mentioned chains in the beginning. I have mine ready for our trip south. Do you have a snow shovel with u. Stayyy Safe ,. Vern
  3. This may help with diagnostics on your unit. http://bryantrv.com/docs2/docs/1252service.pdf . Safe Travels,. Vern
  4. Real quick I think they are talking about the thermistor on the fins. That controls the unit to operate or not. My first thought,. Vern my next thought is i am wrong.
  5. It had just over 200 hrs on it. New plugs, air filter and lubed the moving parts on carb and governor. Ran about a minute on one cylinder till it cleaned out old gas from dead cylinder. Then smooth out nicely.. Safe Travels,. Vern
  6. So today I was at a 1990 Motorhome for a generator problem. It just was shaken and vibrating where running. So it thought about installing new spark plugs. I notice when I looked into the spark plug after pulling the wire off. Heck there is green paint on the spark plug. its about time I guess. Maybe even a air cleaner. why note replace it. After 29 years? Vern
  7. Devils Canyon campground is near Montecello Utah. I think it is a national forest campground. Look it up on the web. It is a gravel road headed west of the main highway. Plenty of room to drive and not far of the main road. The campground is paved and has maybe 6 site I could fit in at 73'. Open and closes according to weather. Good local place to use as a base. Well someone ordered snow for us next Saturday. So I need to get stuff done to leave. Safe Travels,. Vern
  8. Not in your truck. But this is some ting to see. https://images.app.goo.gl/XAo592YT23KxWajx5 on the south side is Goosenck state park. Vern
  9. With our travels through that area over the years the North Rim is at the bottom of the list to visit. Really not much to see as it is more commercialized. Now I did need to go see it again about three years ago after the tourists were gone. Drove in with the truck and Rv. Drove straight to the end of the road. Since I cannot turn 90 degrees it was a tight turn in that area. The only thing that I did notice was Buffalo droppings on the road. Yes there are free roaming buffaloes there. I think they may even hunt them on a small scale. Lots of other things to see and do. Bbbbbbut I think your time is short for see it all. Last spring we drove through Moab as it was in the direction where we were headed. Chains maybe needed. Safe Travels,. Vern

    flooding

If there is water in the belly pan, you will need to pull it all down. Let it dry out good and replace everything you pulled down. There is insulation in there and it will not dry out. Hope it did not get wet. One thing I was thinking of is some axles have the brake wire run through the center of the axle. If it flooded it may have water in it. I think you put disc brakes on yours but the old wiring mave have been hidden in there. Our Teton still has electric brakes, but I cannot remember how the wiring is run to the brakes. Hope you saw the last of the high water. Vern

    flooding

Think about turning the breaker off for shore power. Or atleast your main breaker in the power panel . Also the inverter output. Just in case it starts to get into the underbelly. Vern

If you can jack the front up some . Much easier to fix the rear area then what is up front. Hope the water stops rising there. Vern
  13. I am curious as to why a 55 amp converter only has 30 amp fuses. I think a 65 amp Progressive Dynamics only has 40 amp fuses. Safe Travels,. Vern
  14. This is a winter project for Window repair. It is just for myself and to pass along some info as I try to accomplish said subject. I do have a bottle of argon for welding and a regulator that will do the job. Will keep posted,. Vern
  15. Last winter I had a customer ask me about the same problem. The fifthwheel side of the situation worked. But the truck did not pass power on the female receptacle. I walked over to a neighbor in the campground that I had to talk to for a minute and his friend asked me what I was working on. I told him what was working and what was not. He said he had the same problem on his Chevy truck. It turned out to be a relay, fuse or something that GM put under the spare tire on his truck. But on this GM truck they installed it behind the rear axle, on the inside of the frame. Now on the truck that I worked on it had two small bolts holding it to the frame. You could look in behind the rear wheel and see the 10 mm bolt heads sticking there. The neighbor friend even had a spare part. We installed it and it made the system work. Now why did they install it there????? Just an idea,. Vern
  16. Watching this video you can hear him explain about heavier argon fills the bottom first. I tried to do a video but so far it has not loaded. So this photo explains about how heavier material will stay at the bottom. So in this photo there is a heavy product that is at the bottom. And a lighter product that sits at the top. Now if you shake it up they will mix physically, but separates with in 15 minutes. So if argon is supplied to the bottom of the window slowly it will fill the space from the bottom to the top . Vern
  17. I polished mine twice. But they faded again. Three years ago I sanded them with 400 on front and 220 on the side edge for clear coat to stay in place. Still looks great. I have paint equipment with me and had clear coat also. Did another set at the same to save time on labor. He sold his truck so I cannot say what his looks like. I did use regular clear coat, not rattle can. But Napa may be able to help with rattle can clear coat. Safe Travels,. Vern
  18. For a update on my thoughts of this project. I will work on at least one window this winter while in Arizona. I have searched this subject over a few years and never seen a simple way to fill the window with a gas. Now that I have seen a simple way to accomplish it, I will try it. We have been staying in Arizona for 4 winters and I really think this is the last winter there. So I am getting some other projects in order to keep busy while there. The Rv repair business has dropped of by at least 40 percent in Montana. It is close to time for me to retire so a day or three off a week has got me thinking more days off would be fine with me. I am planning to install solar on our fifthwheel this winter. Window thing may involve more if it works. Now I am going to be picking up on a old hobby from the 1970's. Back in those days I was building black powder rifles. So I hope to get some forging of parts done before we leave in October. Heck I mite be doing some backpacking this winter in the mountains of Arizona. Even carry a fly rod with me and do some fishing. Safe Travels,. Vern
  19. Find 12vdc somewhere and wire direct to fridge. With a fuse inline on the positive side. Test fridge for operating. I had one years ago that a wire had came apart in the slide wiring that powered the fridge. Then search back to find the problem, or just replace with a new wire run. Safe Travels,. Vern
  20. This explains this subject Yep this will help. Thanks,. Vern
  21. I want to learn how to take a double pane window apart , clean it and resealed it. Vern
  22. I am curious as to what cleaner for cleaning the sealer that holds the glass todether. I think it is a polyurethane product. But looking for the best cleaner that will not affect the sealer. I do need to look for where it leaked in to cause the fogging. I have an old window that I am expiermenting with. Safe Travels,. Vern
  23. Ok now I am rethinking this. Just what is stuck. If solved this , lets us know. Safe Travels ,. Vern
  24. Be patience on the lower shaft connection. Move burner side back and forth to loosen large fan wheel loose. Then the burner wheel may want to be stuck. Push it on the shaft just a bit. Use sand paper to clean end of shaft. Then work off shaft. I have used a very small screw driver to loosen the plastic center in the slots. But be careful not to break the whee.. It can be down,. Vern
  25. With what you have stated for fuses and new batteries, have paper and pencil ready. Do you have a 12vdc volt meter. You need one ready to use. I would then call the transmission manufacturer. They should help. Be patient with them. Unfortunately there is no tech support for that make of Motorhome any more. Where r u located. Do you have the build plans for that unit. I think that it should of had a set with it. They mat be online. This should get you started in the correct direction. Safe Travels, Vern I wou
