  1. Paste? Do you have a link to the product? Interesting as I have EternaBond tape and every vent, skylight and front and rear cap seems. That was one of my questions if it would stick EternaBond tape.
  2. This was even more interesting. Apply the first coat of Tropi-Cool 100% Silicone Roof Coating at approximately 1.5-gallons per 100 sq. ft. (minimum 11-mils wet) to three (3) test areas. While Tropi-Cool 100% Silicone Roof Coating is still wet, use Henry 296 or Henry 195 Fabric to embed three (3) 1” x 6” strips into each of the wet Tropi-Cool 100% Silicone Roof Coating test areas. Allow 2” of fabric to extend beyond the wet Tropi-Cool 100% Silicone Roof Coating. After embedding the fabric, apply the second coat of Tropi-Cool 100% Silicone Roof Coating at approximately 1.5-gallons per 100 sq. ft. (minimum 11-mils wet) over the fabric to completely cover it. Do not coat the 2” fabric ends. Brush Tropi-Cool 100% Silicone Roof Coating lightly to remove any trapped air.
  3. I have been thinking of using this product for about 6 months now. The few reviews I have read and messaged people about it sounded good. One said that after 3 years it still looks new and white just like when he applied in. Resisting dirt is a factor for me, but not the main one. I want to pant everything with it. Vents and sky lights. I really do not need light through them, so my thought was it would act as a thermal break and reduce heat loss in the winter and help keep cooler in the summer. The thermal protection is really what interests me the most. As silicone does not transfer heat. I would think my ACs would not nearly work as hard. I would also do the slides as the insulation on the top of them is not that great. As my storage cabinets get warm to hot when in full sun on hot days. I still need to look into the prep procedure and what it can bond to and not bond to. I have black AC covers up on the roof. I want to paint the upper cap white as I think the ACs will be more efficient. I taped a white plastic trash bag on there and an hour latter the surface was 25° cooler. And this was put on when already hot. My thought with that is that it will be much cooler helping the condenser to become a lot more efficient.
  4. Good thing I decided not to take 70. A post on a FB group that I’m on. I live and work here in Colorado (CDOT). If you are traveling through on I-70 east or west and going over the Rockies. Please be aware that the highway between Idaho Springs and Georgetown is under construction. The highway is very rough with narrow lanes. Some of the construction will require lane closures, only leaving one lane open. Just went through there June 12th and noticed how rough the road was and hard to control. If your next to a semi it is possible to touch. The speed is still 55 -65 mph, but I would recommend slowing down and focus on yourself. Make sure everything is batten down! Stay safe and have fun!
  5. Thanks I will add it to my list. I have been using this one, http://www.safetravelusa.com/
  6. The Cummins in my Ram is up to the task and LOVES to work hard.
  7. Sometimes taking the longer way is the better way.
  8. Thanks, I did not even think of taking 285. I will have to look into that.
  9. Mapping it from Delta, it is only about 10-12 miles more taking 50 to 25 vs 50 to 70.
  10. I’m going to be staying in Delta, CO and then off to Denver. I could get there a couple different ways. Head North on 50 and take 70 E or continue SE on 50 and take 25 North. I have a 40’ 5ver. Just wondering if anyone has gone these routes and any comments or comparisons. I have driven 70 E before and going that way I know I have to climb to the Eisenhower tunnel. Thanks for your thoughts and advice.
  11. I think it was great of them to search the forum and look for an answer. I stand up and applaud you.
  12. Thanks, now it shows things.
  13. I looked yesterday and nothing came up.
  14. OK, I got the impression that you streamed tv through campground WiFi and surfed on you hot spot.
  15. But you hook your Firestick to it. And it is attached to your Amazon account.
  16. I get that Apples operating system is IOS. I have a WiFi Ranger Go AC router that seems to made by Mikrotik so I’m going to assume this will not effect me. Thanks
  17. Are these routers that Apple sold? Or is it any router made by Cisco that an IOS device hooks up to?
  18. We went with SD. You just need to read up on the 3 states (Sd, Fla and Tx) to find out which one fits you better. I believe SD has the lowest state tax rate out of the three and no yearly inspections are needed. I also think there insurance rates are one of the lowest. But as far as if one rig more expensive to insure. I would have to think that the biggest factors are the cost of replacement. If you have a 400k class A or a 150k 5th wheel, I would think the fifth would be less expensive to insure. I would think you would want to figure out which type of Rv suites your needs first. As a little 20’ B might be the cheapest, but will not do what you want it to do. You need to think about your wants and needs to figure out what rig fits you as it is not a one fits all choice. I spent almost 2 years reading and researching what would be the best choice for us. I went with a 5th wheel for several reasons (DRV Mobile Suites towed by a Ram 3500 & a Mazda 3 as the daily driver) We loved the layout of 5th wheels over the others. If the truck goes down for any reason we still have a place to live vs a class A. When it is in the shop your whole home is in the shop. There are so many angles to look at this I could write pages and pages on it. But as I stated above, it is about your wants and needs. Have fun researching.
  19. I agree. That is what we did as we were selling or home at the time.
  20. He is charging you tax, as it can not be avoided. He is just raising the sales price of the rig to cover it. Typical salesman, LOL. Or maybe he is giving you a temp tag and having you do all of the tax and tag and title work. You can store it where ever you like with valid tags.
