Wow, talk about a full plate. My Mother took care of her Mother after having stroke. After 6 years of care she was declining and could not take care of her properly,as she was also aging. She then moved her to a nursing home. My mother because of this said that she would never live with us as she knows how it effected her. There is no right answer to this. I started full timing 5 years ago because some advice I was given. Several people said do it while you can as they planned it for years to decades. And after a couple years or less had to stop the lifestyle and get off the road because of one or both of their health. So sorry that you have to make this decision as it hurts your heart to do what you have planned. Not sure that there is a good answer. Just try to do what makes you happy inside.

It varies by each state. I would think that SD might be the best place as there is no yearly inspections.

My wife and I are retired educators. We do pretty well on living off our pension. We spend a little more then the pension, but we sold our house and banked the proceeds and draw from that when we need to. We still have a BCBS PPO insurance through the state. And SS will kick in in 3 more years. So then we should be banking money every month. With what is happening in the world today, why would you want to take the Chance and expose yourself to Covid? I know the states say that they need to reduce class sizes, but not sure if any could afford it. As it would require hiring a ton more teachers and expanding all of there schools.

This was back in March with Able bank. They were the highest out there at the time with no exclusions. Now it looks like they are .6% !!

I’m still on the sidelines with most of my cash. I put a little into a few stocks about a week after the dip. But I think there is another coming. There is NO reason that the market should be this high. I know the Fed has poured TRILLIONS into it, but that still does not change the fact that is it where is it. The NASDAQ has made a V recovery!! WHAT??

I just found it weird that lets say a 3 bar signal, which is not that bad in my book. The the booster could degrade the signal instead of boosting it to 4 or 5 bars. At least that is how I logically think.

Compare this to sex with questioning if you should wear a condom. If you want to reduce your chances of contracting a venereal diseases or become a parent, WHERE A CONDOM. If you want to reduce your risk of getting Covid 19, WHERE A MASK. Why over think what makes sense?

I spoke with a guy that has the WeBoost Drive 4G-X RV model. He says it is 50/50. He said that sometimes it makes the signal weaker, makes voice calls worse and sometimes everything better. This guy works from the road and is very tech savvy.

Because the virus lives on a surface for a certain amount of time. I would think that the time would be up by the time that it was packaged until you opened it and ate it. Like I said, I think it is way safer then picking it myself. As it could of just been contaminated minutes before I picked it up. Again just my precautions I’m taking.

I agree, but I’m only buying packaged produce, because if it is just open in a bin, you do not know who molested it or coughed or sneezed on it. This way I know the produce was last touched by the person who packaged it. It costs a little more, but well worth the security in my opinion.

The thing is that has been forgotten is once you have it, they say that it damages your lungs and who knows what else. So I worry about the long term effects that we have not even seen yet. Strokes are up in younger people from what I have read because of this among other ailments relating to blood clots. I’m hoping that it does not mutate like the flew and the strains change, but it could just like the flu. If so, it could be here for a very long time.

She thought that Kirk in particular and I were ganging up on her. I tried to be as kind as I could explaining how and why this happened, and she just did not get it. I guess some people just don’t and never will.

She was deleting her posts. She said that she was going to ask if they could delete her account. I just simply said, just don’t log on anymore.

What is going on here? I posted this thread two months ago for RVers to sign a petition to keep campgrounds open. Especially for us full timers and workers who live on the road to follow the work. Seemed to be going smoothly until the last couple of days. Just trying to understand the friction that some people are causing. This thread was intended to help us RVers and make sure that we had a place to stay, plane and simple. And this was the best place to post it as Escapees looks out for our rights as RVers. Am I missing something?
