    Rolling lots of coal!
  2. Remove the supply hoses and remove the whole faucet? Tighten and reinstall?
  3. "Walmart purchases much of what they need to maintain their facility from him." What does this mean?
  4. I am currently using Viasat at our S & B. I'm around 16.0 Mbps Upload and 5.0 Mbps download. 700 -1000 ms Ping. I'm wondering what you are getting in the USA using Starlink? We are located central coast California. Thanks for your info. GaryD
  5. Robert, did you get your "water in the oil" problem sorted out? Could this be part of the problem?
  6. Glen, didn't you say you have an iPad? Should not that work?
  7. Will Tri State let you stay in their parking lot in your trailer? Or leave your truck and trailer there and get a hotel room?
  8. Is this something a mobile mechanic could diagnose if one were available?
  9. A rag stuffed around the hose/cable.
  10. Yes, you are correct. It would look milky and emulsified if it was water. Still, if it were mine, I'd want to determine what is causing the fuel getting into the oil before I drove too many more miles. Do you feel more comfortable with the repair shops at home? Do you know the reputation of Tri State?
  11. Robert, I am so sorry that this is happening in the middle of your vacation. You either have fuel or water getting into the oil. One inch on the dipstick is significant. I would take it to Tri State Truck & Equipment in Billings and have them determine what is causing your problem. Then you can make the decision of having them make the repair or just change the oil and drive home. Either way, you do not want to put too many miles on the engine. Water or fuel in the oil is not a good lubricant. You must determine what is causing the problem and then you can make a decision.

    DOT inspection

Cory, are you registered as a Commercial Vehicle? Is that why you stop at the entry/weigh stations? Like rpsinc above, I'm also wondering why you are stopping. GaryD

    Change oil?

Do you take oil samples? Do you have a baseline? Might be time to start.
  15. Thank you, docj, you have been most helpful with your explanations and knowledge.
  16. So they use antenna that are or look like 4G antenna? So what type of cell phone will be required to use this "sub 6 GHz 5G"? Must it be 5G or will a 4G phone work?
  17. I have done some research and have come to the conclusion that it is a 4G antennae. The reason being that this is in a very rural area with property sizes from 80 to 3000 acres and more. From what I have read, 5G has a range of 1500 feet. Therefore I don't see how it would work here. The 5G antennae look like round cylinders from what I can find out. I'm just hoping I can get cell phone coverage. Now my signal strength is around -125 dbm. Which is basically no coverage. The new tower is 3/4 mile away and should just clear the hills to our home.
  18. We have a new cell tower going up in our neighborhood (going to be a pine tree). Can anyone tell me if it is 4G or 5G?
  19. Very nice job, trimster, I'm impressed. Nice write-up, photos and very professional! GaryD
  20. I'm with you on that one, mr. cob. We've spent many winters in and around Q. Maybe someone in the group has a better internet connection. From what you've said there must be quite a group. How many at the last count? Have a great time and enjoy the beautiful desert. GaryD
