  1. I question how strong my batteries are. When I got them wasn't the options we have now. So my batteries were used leaf cells repurposed for this. When I get settled on our property may get more storage. I have plenty of solar. When sun out they supply all we need and charge batteries. And our days are still rather short now. So more battery use and less solar

  2. Be aware I know of no phone that will let you choice between 4g and 5g. This has been a problem for me. Have been in the fringe area and 5g was still there. It was poor service. Guys with 4g phones playing videos no problem. I couldn't. Now that is with Verizon service. Have never had T-Mobile. Always head bad for full timers

The most obvious in my mind would be the possibility of the awning coming open unexpectedly, saying going down the road or on a very windy day.

No idea how that could happen. It works in it goes in and out and stays where it is put. Just stopping every foot or so of travel in one direction only. Worked perfectly before the motor gear stripped out and I put new one in. I couldn't understand either why controls were reversed. Can't plug it in wrong. I reversed wiring coming out of controller. I will put a monitor on it tomorrow. I have a 12v drill battery. Going to disconnect wiring tomorrow and bypass controller. See what happens.

  4. Some time back I replaced motor and spring in our awning. Ever since controls have been reversed. It would go out good but come in by stopping and having to restart it. Simply release switch and enguage again and it go. Have to do this several times to get in. Yesterday I reversed wires to get direction corrected. Now it comes in good but going out is problem. So has nothing to do with spring tension. Does this with remote and wall switch. It works but is a misterery to me.

  5. You have a first rate system Chad. I went a cheaper route than Victron. Time will tell if good choice or not. I have no problem with 48v system. I did have a hydraulic problem and thought mistakeling it was voltage problem. But I also have electric levelers so not as much 12v load as some. I was considering Scheinder XW Pro. Decided against against it as it was 6500 watt rating. David Poze did a you tube video on that unit. He has no gas appliances at all and runs his whole house with this inverter. It will handle way more than it is rated at. If that had been posted before my purchase I would have went that route. My inverters will handle 500v mppt each unit. I have 4500 watt of panels. 10 total. I have ran 5 to each inverter. I getting avgerage of 233v into each inverter. May go higher on cool mornings with lots of sun but haven't checked. I just ran #10 pv cable to inverters. As many know on here I have Leaf battery packs totaling 21kwh. I have not verified the kwh though.
