  1. If your fifth wheel has air ride hitch it would likely be good. I have used one on my previous DRV and a dually. It floated right along. Now preferred way is air ride on truck. And a ET hitch would be easier to mount also. It comes in from behind between the frame rails and bolts in. Run an air line and you set. If you put a B&W on it would be too tall on top of rails. You would need to weld in a plate lower and mount to it.

  2. I picked up the wire last week. Decided to get in there and remove the wiring from the old unit I had in here. The wires runs on top of a steel beam behind my sliding doors which separates storage from tanks. That unit had dual outputs so 4 sets of #12. Guess what I found when all those wires removed? My 6/3 land line cable. Teton ran them to there, across and back to breaker box. Sweet. Made this easy. Went ahead and mounted a new inboard surge protector. Made wiring easier. Got inverters wired and tie in ready to be made. Got rather warm today and didn't want to shut down air conditioner this evening. Do that in the morning while cool.

  3. We had several days of rainy cloud cover and no charging. Batteries got down to 44 volts and 12v circuits shut down. Bms shuts down at 33v. 48/12v converter goes down to 30 volts input. I should have got out meters and checked voltages but just turned on charger and immediately 12v came back on. It only a small charger. Now I have 3 battery paks and each one has it's own bms. They feed a bussbar where they are all combined. Your thoughts.

I'm pretty sure he has a LG mini split like you would have in your home or small office. I can't remember if it has the wall mount inside units or the ceiling mounted inside units.

That is why he needs a 240 volt system. There are a lot of Spacecraft customs with one or two exterior units and as many as four indoor units to heat and cool the trailer.

Actually he doesn't have to 240v service to run the minisplit. I have my 240v mini split on a step up transformer that inputs 120v and outputs 240v. It powers my mini split. Yes it is going around one elbow so to speak but allows me to run it off my 2500 watt inverter. It will run both mini splits and tv. Might run more but all we need in a pinch.

I thought I had gotten away from checks till last summer working at my brothers Shop. Credit cards and Debit cards were charging a fee of 3.95% for the convenience of using the card. The "Farmers" who used to use their card all the time switched back to checks and so did I. Most of the "City Slickers" could care less about the extra charge on their card. I try to pay cash to all the Mom and Pop stores I visit. I also always tip in cash.

We never eat out anymore so no tips.
