When we replaced our fridge , I removed the door , including the jam ( frame ) , to get the new unit inside .

That gave us about 1/4" on either side clearance . Slow and easy got it done .

The side window was the next move that wasn't needed . It's pretty easy to remove the complete window with frame . Just have to be sure to add caulk or replace the seal when putting it back in place .

Then there's the height that has to be dealt with . If you have many hands or a fork lift ... ;)

depth of mine is 33". 36" wide. Won't go thru our door/25 3/4".

    Composting toilet, no chemicals.

Don't mix the liquid with solids and the only odor is the Strong Ammonia odor if you let the liquid sit for too long. Vinegar will eliminate most of that except when you empty the liquid container. Both can easily be disposed of without adding a "Lot of Water". I'm getting close to a year of doing this and 9 months with the brand of "Composting Toilet" I was able to see  in person before the purchase.

Could not talk DW into this.

  3. Well i have one now. Had to get one quick and all that was in stock. Our spring broke on our Sealand unit. Simple job to replace. Done it several times. When removing the old spring, when removing the screw to shaft heard a crack. Shaft came out with screw. Well that not replaceable. So off to only rv center here and all they have is this Thetford. Only problem installing was mounting bolts. Mine had four and new had 2. Well no bolt slot for this position. So got my Dremel tool out and made two slots. I thought about rotating flange but lots more work. The drain goes right to a 45 and no room for a coupling. It is a cheap plastic unit but we just didn't like idea of using park utilities while we waited on a replacement to come in. Seat not as comfortable. Some what taller so wife says. She is only 5'2. It does clean the bowl much better. Front pedal we love. No more lifting up for fill. It cost $209 plus taxes. Seat is basically just thetford part.

  4. I was concerned about using my mini splits for heat as no heat is ducted in there except with furnace. I have lithium batteries so they need to stay above freezing. Now I don't know how other brand inverters behave but mine put out right much heat. I opened up storage yesterday and it was warm in there. Only mini splits in use. Now that was in upper 40's. So I see no need for concern now.
