I have the small 1200 watt Victron Phoenix hooked up to our residential fridge. Breaker is off. So battery and solar only. App shows 0% usage. Why
-
I just have everything shipped to my escapees address. No problem.

My wife doesn't travel well anymore. We will not be leaving Huntsville again. If I get a job going to use a hotel. So this not real serious. I may just have air in system. Pump was pumping rather free.
-
I cycled them several times with out slides hooked up. Thought that would get air out.

Replaced my living room rams this summer. They ran in and out fine without slides hooked to them. Went to move today and had to winch slides in but they went out fine when we got to our destination. My rams have a tee on each both ports with hoses to them. It is possible I got them on wrong port. Bedroom works great so not pump problem. I placed hoses where I could tell where they went. But getting rams out they fell and fluid stated pouring. In getting them up to stop leaking all got mixed up. Looking back should have tape and marked them.

I cleaned my indoor unit also. It is a pain. Amazing how dirty it got. Have not cleaned cassette yet. Not needed so far

Reliable source? Sadly news is more about ratings than facts. I question it all now.

Oh I should add my set up not ideal. A single unit with 2 indoor heads better set up. I was hung up on 120v. Had not considered a transformer at the time.
-
I installed 1 12k Pioneer 120v unit several years ago. Stilled used the rv bedroom factory unit. When the bedroom unit died I added the second. It is a 240v unit. That is all the cassettes offer. I choice this this due to no wall in bedroom to put a wall unit in. I really do like the cassette better though. I did put it on a transformer to run it on 120v. I can run both units, lights, tv on my 2500 watt inverter generator. They are very efficient. I agree there are higher seer units now. I second Signature Solar units. We have no problem cooling our 40" Teton now. We did with the factory units. We do use the furnace some. We like the hot heat. I have installed 4500 watt of solar, that finished, 2 6500 watt inverters, 21kwh lithium battery pak. Have not wired in inverters to ac yet. Work in progress. Should be able to run entire unit with no utility. My goal anyway. Not possible with traditional rv acs.

???? Do you have a link??
No link. You frame out panel and put hinges on top. attach angle iron for support up. There is an rver on here with his this way.

Well we have 4 100W panels on the roof of our 25Y, and there is plenty for 2 more maybe 4, I'd have to measure. A fiver would have more room.
You could do an awning solar panel also

It might be overkill, but I would still solder them.
The ferrule prevents it from flaring out. I crimp it also. Don't see any need in harding wires from soldering.

Has anyone found a wall mounted vent? I have a stove vent tube that exits through the wall and have tried to find something I could mount to the wall and t into the tube. Most of them are too deep or have a light that I don't want or need.
Rod
That vent fan linked is adjustable in depth. Lots of others mount it in wall
-
I would do it but I am only 66. I get shape except for knees.
-
So true. But #12 &14 very easy to run and form. ,#6 not so. Not real bad
-
Going under belly would be impractical on mine. Straight down from my breaker box is reachable from my storage compartment. Can run wire overhead of storage right to inverters. Same where I plan to relocate receptacle for utility connection
-
Oh not going cheap on wire.i don't know numbers with wire except size. I would not want #6 solid period.

NM-B is a little cheaper than UF
Just checked lowes and Home depot and costs more

Got ferrule kit all the way up to #2.

I see . From a previous thread , you want to relocate your electric service connect point ?
I used a UF type wire/cable when I rewired the power to the front section of our Monaco . That was about 11 years ago and there's never been any sign of malfunction .
Uf might easier to get in between some of the places we have to in rvs. It's flat

Glenn, is this what you have? https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Vents-and-Fans/MAXXAIR/MA00-03812B.html
Actually mine is a ventline. but yes that style of vent

Oh sorry i wasn't plain. I want to use it for wiring not extension cord. Just finding it cheaper than romex. But I am finding better prices by the rolls.
-
Been pricing romex and roughly $7.00 a foot for 6/3. I can buy 30' 50amp extension cords for little over $150.00.
Slide out problem.
