lappir
I searched for the information in the title and came up with nothing. I have a small broken reflector at the end of my truck since I haven't yet applied the reflective tape to the end we cut off earlier this year. I have the tape and was all set to apply when I decided to look and see how "Spacecraft" applied the tape. I noticed they have the "Red" on the end facing the front of the vehicle and the "White" at the back. I was thinking I'd put it with the red marking the end would be correct. Am I thinking incorrectly. Googled application of DOT tape, but see nothing to specifically indicate, but I do see the red seemingly marking the end of each trailer in the illustration. Is that what you see too? Jaydrvr
If doesn't matter. I think the spec is to have 50% coverage minimum of the tape. I think so.... I didn't look it up and my memory isn't what it once was.. Jay
rickeieio
Look at David Dixon's site, RVNerds. I believe it's covered there. If memory serves, DOT tape only applies to commercial trailers. That said, safety is never a bad thing. lappir
Thanks, I put some at the end of my truck behind the axle where the frame is sticking out. It's not pretty, but I can see it now.
