John and Ang
Hello again gentlemen , I was wondering what you guys use to mount your hookup camera . Is there a specific product or just whatever you want to design ? I have a magnetic camera so technically all that I would need is a 12 to 16 inch piece of steel bolted to the deck . I’m searching for ideas . Any comments welcome , Thank you
Nigel
This question comes up from time to time. Carl posted a photo in this link and is similar to what many of us have done. https://www.rvnetwork.com/topic/145361-trailer-hitch-camera-mount/#comment-1082847 Nigel Quote 2006 Volvo VNL 430, 2006 smart cabrio cdi, 2000 Triple E Topaz 30'
Star Dreamer
Alot depends on what your bed or area in front of your hitch looks like. On ours, I just mounted an L angle on a horizontal tube part of my bed structure and used the standard Camera U shaped bracket to bolt to it. This put the Camara at the right height to see the hitch.
