Snowflake
Does anybody have any experience or knowledge about importing a HDT rv truck from Canada to Texas? Temporary registration, import paper work required etc. Private sale, person to person. Larry Burkett
Get ahold of Gregg Shields, he does HDT's at his shop in Calgary and can probably steer you in the right direction. His email is gregg@rvhaulers.ca

Jim & Wilma
When we imported our truck in 2015, we used Drive Star to do the paperwork for us. Aside from the cost, it was painless. http://www.drivestardelivers.com/ Quote Jim & Wilma 2006 Travel Supreme 36RLQSO 2009 Volvo VNL730, D13, I-shift, ET, Herrin Hauler bed, "Ruby" 2017 Smart Class of 2017
Darryl&Rita
Greg typically moves trucks north, but may be of assistance going south. It's not a big deal, just have all the paperwork ready before you approach the border crossing, including scheduling your crossing. Show up without the appointment, be prepared to wait, and wait, then wait some more. You'll be getting the paperwork to apply for a title, as we don't use titles for vehicles, as the US does. I used to have a list of all the needed documents, and procedures, but I think CBP website lists it.
