Scampers
Hi all, In the light of the "new normal" and COVID we are feeling the need to be more self-sufficient (larger bathroom/laundry/kitchen etc.) and about to upgrade from our 19' fiberglass travel trailer to a 35' Tiffin diesel pusher. I have read that eh Safe-T-Stabiler for steering is a good addition for this short wheel-based rig. Any comments/suggestions on this? At the Tucson Escapade a few years back the safety seminars really got my attention. Cheers, Bruce Miller
Bill Joyce
Do you mean "Safe-T-Plus", http://www.safe-t-plus.com/? We have installed them on our last two motorhomes and are quite happy with the results. We have also talked to a couple people who have had front tire blowouts and they wished they had a Safe-T--Plus installed. GR "Scott" Cundiff
We also added one to our 2005 Safari Cheetah. Made a nice difference in steering and, hopefully would protect us from a catastrophic event in case of a blowout or accident. We went to the factory in Georgia and they installed it at no cost. Their techs are amazing in their ability to adjust it. Pat & Pete
I highly recommend a Safety Plus . We had one installed on our 36 foot Monaco Monarch years ago and I will not be without one . Turned a somewhat white knuckle two fisted adventure into a one hand pleasure cruise . Then there's the added safety features already mentioned above . No more needs said .
