Texas A&M just started in 2020. It is new and no MDs yet. All of the rest except TT and Baylor are part of UT. Your list doesn't include U of Houston which just completed its first year. A medical school is one that educates MDs.

No, you have some incorrect information.  As was pointed out, A&M Med School has been going for a few years.  U of Houston's is brand new with first class entering THIS FALL.   BTY, the list is from the Texas Medical Association.

I must ask is your information more accurate than this from Texas A&M?

Founded as part of Texas A&M University with a charter class of 32 students in 1977, the Texas A&M College of Medicine was one of five medical schools established by the Teague-Cranston Act. This federal bill created medical schools in conjunction with existing Veterans Affairs hospitals to meet the needs of the medically underserved areas of the country.

We were trying to get into the practice our daughter uses but were told they are not accepting new Medicare patients.

We ran into the same problem but it was resolved by our son speaking directly to the doctor we wanted when he was there for an appointment. The result was that she then spoke to the office clerk and they called us to say we would be accepted and when did we wish our first appointment. I suggest that you see if your daughter can contact the doctor directly as that will probably resolve the problem.
