Escapees mapping

Has anyone ever used it because it appears that it only works on a desktop which we don't have or ever plan on having again. We have smart phones, Android tablets and a Chromebook laptop, I'm guessing it needs Windows to work.

Has Escapees become that disconnected from RVers that actually travel in their units for extended periods or fulltime?

The Mapping doesn't work on a laptop either. I have tried on and off for several months and nothing works. I was hoping it would replace my Streets And Trips but guess not. I have now bought RVtripwizard and will test that for a year...............

Good afternoon, Denny.

It does work on my laptop...Windows OS.  However the mapping URL states, "Limited functionality on mobile devices, desktop preferred."  Perhaps the OS is the criterion.

I guess we should be going down the road with a desktop in the cab of the truck . Like I said the escapees organization has become disconnected from the RVers that pay the fees to support them. This is one long time member that may not be a member this time next year.

PA has a petty good mapping function and it works on a smart phone.

Someone didn't think this one out.  Why even offer a mapping program that isn't functional across platforms anymore.  Better off not to offer something, than to offer it only to a few.

I don't know about iOS but we have mapping on our Android phones that is pretty good. There are a number of trip planning software available beyond the Delorme Street atlas and GPS module of 1997-2003 when we were on the road. Here are some I dug up just now, but never tried:
