RV_
OK folks this is the regular patch Tuesday, the second Tuesday of each month. But the Intel CPU and chipset hardware defects have prompted numerous fixes then removing them for better fixes etc. The patch isn't as big as many lately. I did my two touchscreen all in ones desktops, my Mini PC desktop, my two Microsoft Surface Pro Windows 10 Surface Tablets, and it turned out my Amazon Fire Tablets needed updates for the Fire OS today too. The Amazon Fire OS is a locked down OS for Amazon and the Amazon app store and unless you jailbreak it (safe and easy to do) you can't use the Google Play store or its vast library of Google Android Apps. Our Fire tablets are used primarily as Kindles and to watch streaming movies in bed. Since I am not a big app user and only use the Fire Tablets for Amazon apps, Amazon Prime music, movies, and kindle books. Of course we have Netflix, Sling TV, and Hulu on all our devices and TVs which all use the Fire TV last version. I had no problems with any of the computers and Fire tablets, so far so good. Pieere
I am going to wait as my Gateway computer has an AMD 4 processor! I even disabled the Windows Update under Services so it wouldn't install January's update! Living Life One Day At A Time!
OldMan
I'm confused. I never have to do that on my computer.

Oh, I know. OSX has gone downhill since Snow Leopard, but I feel safe behind my Unix firewall.
