Dennis M
Tomorrow I will moving a Showhauler motor home on a 2 pedal Freightliner chassis for a lady who is stranded with her hubby in the hospital. I'm used to my Volvo with a Super 10, so is there anything unique about the FL that I should be aware of? Only going about 35 miles from Cherry Creek in Denver to KOA East off I-70. GeorgiaHybrid
Should be an easy move. If it is an early Eaton Ultra Shift, it will have a centrifugal clutch and you will need to wind it up a bit to get going. A LOT of folks use a two foot, throttle and brake method when backing in. Most every other transmission should have a computer activated clutch and in that case, just drop it into D and go. 2017 Kenworth T6802015 DRV 38RSSA Elite Suites2016 Smart Prime

Star Dreamer
Don't shift too fast from drive to reverse or the opposite and keep your foot on the brake. I try to go slow and stop in neutral between them, it helps avoid the "alarm". If you get the alarm just go back to the original gear, wait for it to stop and try again going slower. Dennis M
Mission accomplished! Get fuel tanks filled (that beast only has two 70 gal tanks!), rig parked in the KOA and hooked up. Showed her how to dump her tanks as well. Thanks for the great advice guys, no issues at all. PS: No offense to the MH crowd, but I like my 18 year old Volvo better!
