hanknjoycew
Just read an article in one of my military magazines about changes to TRICARE Standard as of Jan 1, 2018. I am on TRICARE for Life, but know of lots of folks who use Standard. It talks about enrollment and, starting Jan 1, 2020, an annual premium like TRICARE Prime starting at $150 for individuals and $300 for families. This change was in the FY 2017 National Defense Authorization Act. RV_
We paid that when each of us needed any care at all. If we never went to a doc, we paid nothing. So the price is the same but up front and always paid or no service is no issue for us, we always used our medical for the last ten years or so. I am TFL now too but my wife is standard for two more years.
