aunut
I have a camera system on my 2014 Winnebago and every time I hit a decent bump in the road, the screen goes blank for a couple of seconds. I don't think that it is one of the cameras, because it happens when the monitor view is on any of the 3. It has been doing this for quite some time and always comes back on, but I'm worried each time that it won't. Any ideas? 2014 Winnebago Vista 35B Class A. 2010 Honda CR-V. Alie&Jim's Carrilite
Sounds like a power or ground wire is loose. If possible to trace the wires from the monitor to where they terminate, you'll likely find the loose connection. Jim's Adventures Old Spacecraft.... Kirk W
While the ground could do that, any power lead could do exactly the same, but you should be able to tell if it is going off, or just losing the video data. I would start by getting to the back of the monitor and making sure that all connections are tight. Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... oldjohnt
My backup camera was doing that ESPECIALLY on bumpy roads, it was a loose connector not plugged all the way in tight. Pretty easy fix (for once at least lol) John T
