lgmurphy
We are at a nice State Park in central Texas that is looking for a camp host as soon as possible. We are hosting here now and have had a great time but have to leave because we are double booked. This is a really nice park with great people to work with. TXiceman
It would be nice to put up the name of the park. Kirk W
It would be nice to put up the name of the park. Very true. It makes it pretty hard to know if you are interested when you don't know what park it is. Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... There plenty of places that are close to the border which are safe enough. The entire Rio Grande Valley is next to the border and thousands of folks winter there. However, as pointed out by Aggie, Mexia is nowhere clese to the border, in fact it is nearly 500 miles to the north. Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... coachmac9
I agree Kirk, we lived down south of Corpus for a year and absolutely loved it...in fact we felt safer there than when we lived near the Mexia area!!! One of the only Wal-Marts that ever shut down (because of a huge problem with theft) was in Marlin, not far from Mexia!!!
