mr. cob
Howdy All, We have a week to kill before taking the trailer in to the RV shop in Post Falls ID for its annual inspection and a tad of warranty work and have a week to kill before the shop appointment. We have been to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Glacier Parks many times, does anyone have any suggestions on neat places to go, things to see, camp grounds to stay at, between where we are and where we are going? Thanks for any suggestions, and yes we have seen the HUGE western museum in Cody WY, this is a must see if you are ever in the area. trailertraveler
Have you been to Devils Tower, The Little Bighorn Battlefield and Bannock State Park? There is the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman. In great Falls there is Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and the C.M. Russel Museum. There is Lewis and Clark Caverns near Three Forks. Larry&Donna-AK
I've heard of a Star Valley Resort near Thayne WY. Suppose to be Big Rig friendly and have good trail riding plus all the amenities. Never been been there therefore you can decide. 2gypsies
O.K....seems like you've done a lot in the area, how about a tour of the state capitol of Montana in Helena and then cure your aches with a dose of radon at the Merry Widow Health Mine/RV park nearby? We stayed in that RV park during a Jeep rally but couldn't bring ourselves to sit in the mine. Other than that, perhaps just relaxin' for a few days with a good book and beverage of choice before the stress at the repair facility! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LMkMqrhrHs Full-timed for 16 YearsTraveled 8 yr in a 2004 Newmar Dutch Star 40' Motorhome and 8 yr in a 33' Travel Supreme 5th Wheel

I have always heard that radon was bad for your health, back in the midwest many homes were condemned when they found they were contaminated by radon leaching out of the ground they were built on. I am one of those people who can't relax by just sitting around and "relaxing", if I am not doing something I end up getting stressed out from the boredom of doing nothing, don't even think of asking me to go fishing.
