Box clearance.

Glenn,

We have 7-1/2" from tire to closest box but that us because we still have the plastic fenders on the rear tires that came with our truck. We have 4-1/2" clearance between tire and fender, so you should be able mount your boxes at 4-5" from the tire.

Biggest concerns are if a tire blows and if you ever need clearances for tire chains.

My boxes are right at 4 inches from the tire at the closest spot. I don't want to be anywhere that needs chains, but if I did I would consider tire socks. I realize you are still working so your requirements may be different.

I'll attempt to not need them (chains) but if company gets job north and he wants me there off we go. I believe I can get 4" with standard 2' box near cab. Will have to cut fairing some at top. Can get a 3' at rear no problem. Thanks.
