ceajgjr
it appears that unless you are a mechanic, having an RV with a slide could be your worst night mare. We were proud owners of a Thor palazzo purchased on 4/30/16. Took for our first camping weekend on Mother's Day weekend. Unfortunately our large slide on the driver side became stuck out. We needed assistance and when I finally got to Camping world. front motor broken. All tracks stripped. fabric on bottom stripped. I can't believe we did all the damage as I followed all per instructions. Any event had to cancel 1500 mile trip to Tx coming up this weekend as still in shop. I am so bummed having dished out way too much money for this hoping to pay off in a few years for retirement. I am convinced that large slide should not be placed in these as they are an incredible liability based on the many similar stories I have read. Thanks for allowing my to add my woes. I hope that all may have better results.

We have full timed for 8 years and never had a slide problem. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
ceajgjr
good to hear GW. I am still concerned that the large slides may be a concern. The smaller passenger rear, bedroom slide works like a charm and I hope the way all slides should work. Still hoping for our main larger slide to be repaired so we can use this summer.
