skp51443
Getting step-by-step instructions for someone to create a poll. If you haven't done that the way the forum does things is a bit strange and confusing. First rule of computer consulting: Sell a customer a Linux computer and you'll eat for a day. gypsydan
Info for someone trying to create a poll for the 1st time. I initially had a problem creating a poll, as every time I would create it and preview what I did, nothing appeared. Then I discovered you cannot Preview pools. You have to create them via the Manage Polls link, and then publish. I discovered this small item of info from Stanley Miller, after spending a lot of time going in circles. The only way to see the poll your creating is to publish it, then do any needed editing. Stanley, Your help was greatly appreciated. 2009 Four Winds Chateau - 25' class C 2002 Chevy Tracker
skp51443
Thanks, the forum software is really weak for polls, PollDaddy or SurveyMonket offer a lot better (free!) polling and you can link there from the forums easily. I'll look at doing a post on one or both of them and linking it to a forum topic for folks that want more than one question.
