If you're using Chrome, for example, you don't download anything. You go to Settings/Extensions/Add extension. You then search for the extension you want to add and click on it. I think the procedure for Firefox is roughly the same.

Well, I tried the firewall process and couldn't find Adblock even in the list of programs (they call them apps). Don't have any filters that have been installed by us. Will try to download and save then install and see what happens then. Internet not real good here in Quartzsite this year. Thanks for all your

then disable your antivirus program for 1 hr. then try to install it.

an make sure if your on windows 10 that version of adblock is compatiable with win 10. might be driver is not built for it yet.

but like one poster said might just have to enable it. start, control panel, internet options, 4th tab :"manage add on's. or chrome use instructions given above.

If your husband is using Microsoft Edge as a browser with Windows 10, the AdBlock Plus website clearly states that at this time the app doesn't yet work with Edge. I just tried it and that's what was displayed on my screen. I don't normally use Edge but I did so just to check on this.
