tyates007
My wipers quit parking in the correct position on my KW T2000. KW shop said it was a common motor issue. I changed the motor with no difference. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
HERO Maker
If it is a common motor issue, then it should be on the recall list - as a safety item. But it is not, check it here. Sounds like you might have a screw loose. (your truck not you)
tyates007
No doubt I have screws loose. I probably should have used the word known rather than common as it was not a recall item.
Scrap
Loose grounds are usually a ghost wipe, but it could be related. I can't remember if T2 wipers use the front chassis ground stud like the rest but check that too. Could also be the park circuit fuse or harness could be chaffed around the HVAC unit. Or could be the switch. Might as well get the cheap generic Ebay one to keep around anyways. http://www.ebay.com/itm/WINDSHEILD-WIPER-MOTOR-COLE-HERSEY-75600-02-/181802396070?hash=item2a544469a6:g:A94AAOSwT6pVpB5a&vxp=mtr
tyates007
Thx Scrap. I am going to test the switch. Generic on hand sounds like a good idea
