Kirk W
Easy folks gas in CA for the most part is not that bad. I live in the Bay Area and unleaded is $3.05 and Diesel is $3.19. Well, I suppose that depends upon what one considers a bad price....... Blythe, CA regular unleaded gas, $3.35 to $3.55 and diesel $3.29 Quartzsite, AZ regular unleaded gas, $2.39 to $2.45 and diesel $2.49 to $2.58 Those are from Gas Buddy just now. When we were in Yuciapa, CA and then drove to Quartzsite last Monday, there was exactly $1/gallon difference in the price of unleaded regular gasoline. Today, we paid $1.99/gallon in Anthony, TX and this afternoon $2.15 in Midland, TX. Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... But relatively speaking if you only need to fill up once to get through this state it's not that bad. Some prices change dramatically from station to station and town to town. That $3.05 I posted is now $3.01. The Diesel didn't change. But 6 miles from my house Unleaded is $2.92 and Diesel is $2.75. We only made it down to about $2.35 before refinery explosions and all of the other BS that is used to gouge us. But what the heck, we don't drive our diesel truck much and I drive a Chevy Volt and use very little to no gas. 2 years to go and we will be gone!! kathydavidb
Last week we heard a story on a local TV station about fuel prices. It went something like this, "You may want to fill up your car with gas this week as next week gas prices are going up. Details after the break . . ." Then, when they came back they just stated that prices were going up next week. There was no reason given. Just that statement that prices were going up next week. And guess what, the prices fell around 5 cents a gallon! I sometimes think that there are some out there that actually want higher gas prices. Dave. 2006 Coachmen Aurora 36ft.
