  1. We got busy living life. I finally got out into my RV today and started putting stuff back into it. Going someplace again some day. May make a day trip down to the Spam Museum if I ever again learn to get up while it's still morning. Linda
  2. Yeah, you can do that even in the rain. Linda
  3. Party at Soos'! Everyone invited. Linda
  4. We did the fall color trip down the east coast a few years ago. Traveled slow enough that we kept time with the colors changing so had peak color for weeks. Loved it! Linda Sand
  5. I think bears swim. Pretty quickly if my impressions are right. Linda
  6. I will be going to Q during the show to meet up with other groups that will be there. If you all come there I will camp with you, too. If you go somewhere else at that time, I will miss you. If you meet up somewhere else at a different time I will likely come join you. I plan to spend most of the winter migrating between Emerald Cove near Parker, AZ, and Q but you know how those plans go. Mostly I want to escape from Minnesota winter but not move long distances once I get to Arizona since Dave pays rent on this apartment year around so I like to keep my winter lodging budget low. Linda Sand
  7. Will you be meeting up with Paul and Sue (Soos)? They are in that area, too. http://soos-ontheroad.blogspot.com Linda Sand
  8. Not much to our update. We're basically holed up in the apartment for the summer only going out into the heat for groceries and medical appointments with a few gatherings with friends. Come cold weather, though, I will be headed south and west. I plan to be mostly in the Q and Parker areas all winter. Linda
  9. Class map still shows you in Houston. Who are you hiding from? Linda Sand
  10. Funny, the class map says you are IN Texas. Linda
  11. We're home in Minnesota for the summer. I'm getting hitch itch, though, so may go off for a few days once I get the rig repacked. Linda Sand
  12. I know how all that stuff worked because my Grandpa told me. Right? Linda
  13. Happy birthday, Carol. Pretty big present you gave yourself--another whole country. Linda Sand
  14. OK. He's working on it now. Try again later. Linda
  15. No pontoons because we didn't drive on any of the flooded roads. But we did make good use of my RV's systems. Details on my blog if you are interested. Linda
  16. Happy birthday, Lee. We go out for steak to celebrate. But, I don't drink cranberry juice so that's my excuse to substitute a good steak dinner instead. Not that we need an excuse, of course. Linda Sand
  17. Do go to the circus museum in Baraboo--best fun in the Dells area. Linda
  18. You need to move her away from those tennis courts for a bit. I still think you should travel between now and the wedding. Linda
  19. Good thing you have that aqua hot. I don't know about mixing the whisky and cranberry juice, though. Has Carol been doing the cortisone shots yet? They sure helped me postpone my knee replacements. Glad to hear you can eat again. Want to be able to do that when this group gets together. Linda
  20. I will probably rotate between Parker and Quartzsite most of this winter but could come down to sidewinder if that's where the group decides to meet. Just don't do it during the RV show, please, as we'd lose too many people to it, I think. Some of us have multiple groups meeting there then already. I also agree with IYQ that we'd lose potential new members of the Classless Class if we don't go to Q during the show. I know it made it easier for us to go there the first year knowing we'd meet like-minded people there. Of course we don't all have to go to Q for some of us to go but it is nice to have a fairly good-sized group to welcome any newcomers. Another thought I had is I can't park my rig at places like Da' Boyz like I can at most eateries in Q so I'd be more dependent on you guys if we go to sidewinder then out to eat. Linda
  21. Dave does our laundry when we are together. Glad you averted the disaster. I've been told if you wash it with vinegar in the water it will stop bleeding. Might want to try that. Linda
  22. Now we have Steve kisses?! Does Carol know about that?
  23. Heck, Steve, that wedding is two weeks away. Go somewhere else then come back for it. Maybe the Texas Gulf in the meantime? Linda
  24. I was 10 years old on our very first camping trip. It rained all weekend. We had such a good time my parents and the parents of another family that went with us bought the trailers we had rented that weekend. Us kids also played in the creek much of the weekend--no worries about us getting any more wet. We had one of those warm weather downpours this afternoon and I had the urge to go out in it. Figured it would stop by the time I got dressed and out there, though, which turned out to be true--it was a short but pretty shower so I settled for watching it from our balcony. Linda Sand
