Our classless class likes to keep a family feel. So we do ask you come to Quartzsite the first January you can and meet as many of us as are there that year. Yes, those, except mine is 30 amp. If you only reserve for 2 weeks they put you in one of those. Since I have had sites my Scoot didn't like in the past I said two weeks so I can evaluate what is currently available that might work for me. Some just have gravel too deep for my Scoot and it turned out to be much harder than I expected it to be to drag it from the road to where I parked it. The pull-throughs get packed down better by all the people coming and going every couple of weeks so I may just go boondocking every third week if the temps cool down enough. I have lots of time to decide what will work best for me since I just arrived here yesterday. Linda

I finally made it to Emerald Cove. I'm in a 2-week-maximum spot so I'll be moving then even if it is just to a different spot in the same park. I'm really looking forward to just sitting here and having time to think. And I ran my air conditioner for a bit today--been awhile since I had enough power to do that. Sure was nice to be comfortable without having to drive to use the cab air. I may do it again tomorrow just so I can take a nap--been awhile since I've been cool enough to do that too. Linda

Toni, We apparently passed each other today as I was headed north from Tucson to Phoenix. I was probably stuck in that northbound three-lane parking lot called I-10 when you guys went by. Never did see the advertised flaggers nor any reason for all the lanes to be parked for a half hour or so. Looked like a tailgate party with people out wandering between the vehicles. But now I'm here ready for my vehicle's 10K mile service in the morning. My how those miles have flown by! I sure am looking forward to getting to Emerald Cove where I can just sit still for a long time. Linda

Apparently I should look at Dave's class map sometimes. I didn't realize IYQ was in Deming and I'm leaving here tomorrow. Guess my hermit tendencies are showing. Dave keeps my location updated on the map; since I don't have to do that I forget it's even there. So Lee, "Hi," and "Bye". Linda

I spent all day yesterday sitting in my rig with all my windows covered trying to catch up on computer stuff. Did not succeed. I surfaced today long enough to go buy groceries and have been back at the computer stuff the rest of the day. Still not done. And I have 5 bars of Verizon! Wonder if it will ever happen? Linda

Now Dave lives year round in an apartment and I live with him 6 months and in my RV 6 months but they let us stay members. But you do need to come to Quartzsite, AZ, and camp with us in January to be inducted into this rather exclusive group. Linda Sand

I pulled into Rainbow's End today. Plan to sit and be a vegetable until I get caught up on all my computer stuff. Plus I'm reading the 9 Killer Thrillers that Nick Russell and other authors sold as a bundle and that is keeping me up late. Hopefully there won't be a bunch of idling engines out back of me in the early morning since I'm parked where they line up for the Smart Weigh. Maybe, if they do, I'll be tired enough to sleep right through the noise. Going to be tomorrow in just a few minutes. Linda Sand

I'm somewhere in Oklahoma. Have been heading toward OKC for days but haven't made it yet. Winds are too strong for my comfort level. May drive the hour and a half to Grand Casino tomorrow and sit there some more to keep from paying $30 for a third night here. I liked the first one at $15 PA rate. At least I can dump and fill right here in my spot before leaving so I'll be good for another week on the road. Linda

Yay for good service! That's the way I feel about National Camera Exchange. When I wanted a new small camera before we went to London they asked me if I could wait because one their tech was anxious to buy for himself was about to come out. You don't get that everywhere. Linda Sand

I'm ready to go now. The rig isn't ready but I am. I hate having to wait for departure time. Plus, who knows how soon the BLM LTVA will open again? May have to do a couple more doctor appointments, though; forgot to do the audio one and my fingers are peeling. What's with that? Linda

Took the RV to the laundromat today to give it some exercise and washed my comforter. While out also picked up food from a local restaurant. Two more things checked off the list before departure. Linda Sand
