2004 trucks have an EGR system.

I would investigate the company that wrote the tune for the truck. I've driven a deleted 2004 across the country, including California, and never did I need to be concerned about inspections. This was a commercial truck so not exactly what you're considering but I can't imagine standards would be stricter for pleasure use.

I don't believe they make that system any longer, although they do market something similar, but it's designed for single axle trailers.

Anyone with experience of having added and/or designed an RV to include an air ride suspension? I'm currently evaluating the differences between the MORryde IS and Kelderman suspension systems.

Yes, that is ground and can be connected to one of the ECM mounting bolts or wherever you can find a good connection point. It's a critical ground so be sure every surface is prepped to be a mirror finish. All ECM connections are keyed. Be sure you're in the right hole, so to speak.

We went through Wichita yesterday and I thought about patronizing that same Jump Start. The placed just had that "sketchy fuel quality" look to me so I passed on by.

Well, I went to high school in a North Philly ghetto, thanks to my parents and the good Jesuits. And I've spent more than my fair share of time in truck stops. I imagine the folks who are living in Slab City have it all over the folks in either of the two places I mentioned. A daily life without the hand of government in your face. I could almost be convinced...

Yeah, I've tried to reason but he apparently knows more than Progressive.

I think the better question is, does the Progressive manage a surge? I thought it did.

I'm being told that my hard-wired EMS is not sufficient and I need to add a surge protector. News to me as I thought my EMS detects any decrease and/or increase in voltage and immediately shuts down the feed to our RV.
