I would also be interested in the door panels. As I roam around for work, I might venture close enough to pick them up. Jay

That may be just your counter person. I've had Nextran parts personnel adjust prices for me locally. Jay

Interesting that you send me to a Lift Supports Depot link as I emailed them with the Volvo specs and they replied that they had nothing close to what I needed. I have bought from them often by using dims and because they are quick to get them to me. Satisfied with them.
It's a new age we live in. It seems we either get amazing customer service, or more often zero customer service. Often, there's no choice but to do our own research, if we really want to know what our options are. I enjoy my new lifts every time I open one. I got tired of holding them open with my head and didn't have the brains to just replace them. Jay

I found this online for a 2008. Jay

These are the ones I got for my '99 Volvo. They're as perfect as I could want and they're holding up just fine. Jay

Try calling my home Volvo shop: 330.453.3868. They've been about the only shop willing to give out part numbers. You might tell them you need the number so when you come in, you can save time by just asking for that part number. Or, you might consider ordering directly from them. Good luck! Jay

Okay, thank you. Got it! Jay

Is there still a way to block posts or their authors if one doesn't want to see them in their feed? I can't seem to find that function.. Jay

"Unfair business practice"?
I hope that "unfair" bill includes language to protect the land owner from squatter practice then.
If the rv tenant is paying the fees and not being an unruly pos, 99% of rv park owners would just as soon leave them be for however long they wish to stay. One of the major points of this "shuffle" is to avoid things like adverse possession etc.
If it passes without language protecting the park owners, I hope all rv park owners in that country disband and sell the land to housing.
Thank you.. There is never a single side to a story. Jay

Based on a little research..
The iPad cellular models have a GPS chip built in. The cell tower triangulation only provides general approximate location, while the GPS receiver provides very precise location from the satellites. When the satellites can't be seen by your device, the earth based cell tower method helps to fill in the gaps.
I couldn't find specifics about Verizon, but last I remembered they were similar to AT&T. I can add a data only line (no voice) for a tablet for $10.00/month, last I checked. It would have the same unlimited data.
There was another thread recently about 5g service. It is still my opinion that it's a good ways off from being ready for prime time. In some major cities you may have some access to true 5g bands and speeds, but most of the country will be on 4g bands for quite a while. It takes a lot of investment and time to build out new services. Jay
P.S. You will need a new line for data services of you don't have a Wi-Fi connection, but the GPS is integral to your device and does not need internet to work, but it may need internet services to interpret the data and tell you exactly where you are.

Good silicone is not cheap and it works very well the first time it's used. You can get cheap versions of silicone, but it's watered down junk and shouldn't be expected to perform at the same level. There are better choices for boat and RV repair, such as 3M 5200, etc. Jay

Have you thought of mail order from Canada? Or a trip to MX and stock up?
You typically can't order pain meds from Canada. Mexico might be an option, but obviously not for everyone. Pain meds are problematic enough at one location - I'm not sure there is a workable solution for those who travel. Jay

Did you miss my posts. It is in and finished installing. I started to get a standard depth fridge but window would have to come out for entry. Got same counter size that original was.
I think that poster just uses something like ChatGPT to generate stuff and doesn't ever read any posts. I just ignore him. Jay

Many years ago that happened to a driver acquaintance of mine, but it fell out going down the road a few hundred miles later. He got a brand new Cat engine for his trouble. It's a good idea to actually eyeball them torquing the plug to avoid that possibility. Jay

All of which is why I just always create a link using RV.NET for any picture I want to post. The forum posting limitations are strict enough I just never even try. Jay

The easiest way I have found to use a picture from Facebook to this forum is to first right click the pic, then choose Save image as ... which will save it to your computer at the location and with the name you choose. To get it here, enter the text you want in a post and then use the choose files... you see below. This way the pic ends up in your post with no external links needed.
Or, you can just do a screenshot. Jay

We were? Thought we were talking about weights. This post is almost 2 yr old and no where was it talking about tickets. The blub that I quoted casually mentioned tickets but the gist of it was weights and that's why I posted it.
These do go off the rails...

Province of British Columbia is notorious for their enforcement.
That could definitely be true. I know virtually nothing about north of the border. I've only been there commercially and that was all legal weights and years ago. Jay

If you were in an accident and killed someone I'll bet they'd look into every detail for the court case.
Of course that's true in every accident. We weren't talking about that. We were talking about getting a ticket. Jay

I saw a 2500 RAM pulling what looked to be atleast 42ft Momentum at a rest stop in the mountains once. I struck up a conversation with him about the camper. I eventually asked how that truck handled the weight, he said the trucks modified to handle it. I left that alone pointing out my rig then asked him, when he see's it, please stay very far away from it, I don't want to be involved in his crash. He just stormed off... never did see him or his rig again, thank goodness!!!
This is an old pic I took a few ... years back. Towing with a 2500, atleast to me be like... :
Isn't that a tiny Ford Ranger? The camper is set up, so it just looks like a staged photo for fun, to me. Old Rangers didn't have a lot of tow capacity. Jay

I got my original comment from an article when I Googled about this post statement. I can't find it now. Here's another:
And that is all about COMMERCIAL vehicles. I've never heard of a personal vehicle getting a fine for overweight, either. We've all seen the ones that qualify. Jay
