You might give LaMesa in Tucson a call.  They're a Winnebago dealer.

General delivery to Bushnell, or one of the other towns around there?

To find out where to have General Delivery mail sent, go to www.usps.com

On the left-hand side will be a drop-down menu.  Select "Look Up A ZIP Code."

On the next page, in the "Street Address" field, type GENERAL DELIVERY, then type in the name of the City, select the State, click on "Find."

The next page will give you the +4 General Delivery Zip Code for that location (for Bushnell, it's 33513-9999).

I always go a step further and in the drop-down menu on the left-hand side, I select "Find USPS Locations."  Under "Location Types," select "Post Office."  Then, in the City, State, or ZIP Code field, type in the Zip Code you received in the previous step.  You may receive several hits, but the main post office that accepts General Delivery mail is usually the first one.  Click on the name of the town (Bushnell, in this case) and you'll be taken to a screen that has the PO's local telephone number.  If it's a new PO that I haven't used before, I always call to verify that they do, indeed accept GD mail, if there are special hours for pickup and/or if there is a special location for pickup (some post offices want you to pick up GD at a window rather than in the main area, for example).

And right next door to Desert Trails is Justin's Diamond J RV Resort.  We spent a month there one year and really enjoyed it (we were in the back row and could see the desert out our back windows).  They're also a Passport America park and allow a 1-week stay at PA prices (currently $17) except for January and February, so we try to spend a week there prior to the end of December.

We haven't made a final decision yet, but we'll probably be in eastern Oregon since it's the closest place to where we live.  We don't plan on being in an RV park...there are several places to boondock in the general area we have in mind.  We may also decide on one of several places in Idaho.

In Topic: Another refrigerator question

We've never had a problem with our refrigerator in cold weather.  We try to avoid really cold weather, of course, but we have been in single digit temperatures on several occasions without any detrimental effect on the refrigerator...and we don't do anything special with it.  In fact, this is the first I've heard that refrigerators don't work in cold weather!
