arteacher
My trailer awning was messed up in a freak storm. I want to reattach the awning (still in good shape) to the plastic strip that it was attached to. I'm not sure what adhesive to use.It was obviously attached with adhesive at the factory. The plastic strip also has integrated LED lights. The trailer is a Heartland Lithium, and the dealer wants $1600 plus $500 labor. Any ideas?

arteacher
Sorry, but the other photo will have to be sent separately, because of size limits on the website. This is a photo of my awning tarp. It's just a common, standard material found on most RVs. The next post will show the plastic railing that the awning is normally glued to. I'm not sure what the factories use for glue, but it wasn't hard to pull the awning tarp off the rest of the way after the wind had started the removal.
