2014 Keystone Cougar XLite 21RB

Recommended Posts

Our Keystone tt has been great. My wife, I and two large dogs (80lb, 55lbs) have enjoyed this trailer for nearly 5 years. Our favorite campground is just 2 hours up the road and we have spent many long weekends at Cagle in the Sam Houston National Forest. The many Texas state parks have also been part of our travels and we have enjoyed them as well. On several occasions we have made use of her during power outages to stay warm or cool depending.

We are moving to Boston very soon and hate to part with her but really have no choice. We won't have a space available for parking and storage fees are more than we're willing to pay.

I believe her to be in very good condition. Prior to creating this listing I checked all components and as of this writing everything works great. We have replaced the front axle, the shower skylight and added Maxair vents. We got a Covercraft sunbrite cover after owning for 3 months. The cover only comes off when we travel or for an inspection or maintenance if we have not traveled in a month or two.

This model has the recliners rather than the U-dinette. The vinyl has worn thin so we purchased a valour cover that we find to be attractive and comfortable. I made a small stand on the armrest to hold two theater style swing tables between the recliners that work great for dining indoors or as a writing surface.

We found the counter extension to be small so had a custom Starbrite surface made that is 20"x24". It is more durable and the larger workspace is great. It easily stores in the space at the foot of the bed. We also use this space for our Aussie grill. There is a mount on the rear bumper for the grill and an LP a quick connection easily accessible right under the bumper.

Also added a Dynasty custom queen mattress and blackout curtains for the windows. The unit is quiet, dark and comfortable.

After several trips we found the hanging wardrobes to be awkward for our trips. We added ContainerStore drawers that make for more usable organized storage space.

Unit includes pots, pans, silver, plates and glasses. We have many accessories: leveling blocks, surge protector, drain hoses, fresh water plumbing and many more to numerous to list that are also included.

We also have an EZ2 Hitch swaybar hitching system that is currently attached to the trailer. Happy to include it in the package for an extra $500.

We think it is a great tt for getting started as an rv'er or for someone looking to downsize. It has pretty much everything you need to get started. It is easy to tow and goes down the road easily.

$18,500 asking price.
