porky69
There are many different air compressors that any HDT can be spec'ed with, irregardless of engine model, but expect 50+lbs.
runaway parents
Yup you guys are absolutely right 50 pounds right on the nose .We pulled our compressor today And thought we'd go ahead and weigh it. So after spending Over $900 for service We knew the air compressor was leaking oil They gave me a quote For $1500 To fix it and install a $20 o ring. Nope They are not getting any more money From me so we took it on ourselves.
ddm502001
Only issue engines out there are the Detroit's, mounting the compressor on the bellhousing seemed weird to old mechanics as I.
rickeieio
Better than the old rotary compressor on the IH engines.......I had one on a BD308. Long gone. ddm502001
Or the old Double Disc Injection pumps Cummins used. Had to drop those to get compressors off.
